adidas & Parley For The Oceans Have Worked Together On Two Collaborative Releases

Sneakerheads who happen to be fans of adidas sneakers might already be familiar with Parley for the Oceans, or simply Parley. adidas and Parley have previous teamed up a number of times, dating back to 2015. For those who do not know, Parley for the Oceans is a network organization focusing on the environmental cause of protecting ocean life that is currently critically endangered. Its primary aim is to reduce the plastic that has been polluting the oceans, resulting in the death of millions of aquatic creatures and birds. To further this cause, adidas and Parley have collaborated once again, this time bringing forth an NMD City Sock colorway.adidas and Parley already worked together on another collaboration earlier this month with the Ultra Boost being the model of choice, but it was revealed to be exclusively for kids. One of the signature elements of all previous Parley x adidas releases has been the use of recycled plastic. Most of the Ultra Boost was also made up of recycled plastic, while still retaining its knitted construction. Its uppers are dressed up in Black and Navy, while a contrasting Light Blue hue covers its heel counters.
