Many consider Nike Air Trainer 1 one of the greatest tennis sneaker ever, considering the path it paved for countless sneakers that came after it. The Air Trainer 1 was a brand new sneaker genre in itself and it was because of it that professional tennis players started to lace up in colorful sneakers on the courts all over the world. There has been no Nike sneaker model as iconic as the Air Trainer 1 and it has only hit the shelves in a limited, selective number of colorways. However, it is unlikely that sneakerheads would have guessed that Jordan Brand would design its own Trainer 1 sneaker.2016 actually marks the 29th anniversary of the Air Trainer 1. Unlike other Nike models from the same time period that the Air Trainer 1 was introduced, this sneaker has never seemed aged and decrepit.
